Tenuta San Leonardo, dopo aver fatto riposare il terreno per 3 lunghi anni abbiamo piantato i nuovi ettari denominati “Campo Alla Torre”. Sono stati piantumati seguendo il calendario Biodinamico di Maria Thun nei giorni di Fiore.

Con il 2015 alla Tenuta abbiamo deciso di compiere un grande passo in avanti nella gestione agronomica. Da quest’anno siamo ufficialmente nel processo di “conversione” che ci porterà tra 3 anni a poterci fregiare del marchio comunitario Bio. E’ un cambiamento profondo iniziato alcuni anni fà quando abbiamo abolito tutti i diserbi chimici. Come dice il nostro motto: “La Terra è l’anima del nostro mestiere” e con il 2015 questo motto è ancora più significativo! L’obbiettivo è di riuscire nel tempo a far invecchiare il più possibile le nostre vigne, perché è dalle vigne più “sagge” che si ricavano i vin più emozionanti.
ORGANIC San Leonardo
This year, we have decided to make a great step forward in our agronomic management of the estate. From 2015, we are officially in the “conversion” stage which means that within 3 years that our wines will be EU certified as being Organic. This is a profound change which we began making a few years ago when we removed all herbicides. As our motto says: “The soil is the soul of our work” and this year this has gained even greater significance! The objective is over time to allow our vines to live to an older age, because it is from the “wise” vines that we obtain the most interesting wines.
Campo alla Torre
Dopo aver fatto riposare il terreno per 3 lunghi anni abbiamo piantato i nuovi ettari denominati “Campo Alla Torre”. Sono stati piantumati seguendo il calendario Biodinamico di Maria Thun nei giorni di Fiore proprio per permettere alle giovani barbatelle di avere le più grandi speranze di attecchire e crescere vigorosamente. A 3 settimane le vigne di Cabernet Sauvignon sia Italiane che Francesi sono davvero magnifiche e vigorose, tra poco più di 3 anni potremo assaggiare i primi vini.
Campo alla Torre
Having allowed the soil to rest for 3 long years, we have now planted the 2 new hectares which will be known as “Campo Alla Torre”. They were planted on “flower days” following the Maria Thun bio-dynamic calendar in order to allow the young plants to have the greatest chance of taking root and growing vigorously. After only 3 weeks, both the French and Italian Cabernet Sauvignon vines are growing magnificently and in just over 3 years we will be able to try the first wines.
